The things couples ask us most.

Most of our couples book eight to twelve months ahead, and popular Saturdays in spring and autumn go first. That said, if your date is closer than that it is always worth asking — we would rather tell you we are free than have you assume we are not.

Gladly. We are based in Virginia and travel throughout the state at no extra charge. For weddings further afield, tell us where and we will put together a simple travel quote — there is no markup on it, it is just what it costs to get there and stay.

This is the thing we hear most, and we have never believed in it. You do not need to know your angles or practice your smile. We will guide you when you need it and step back when you do not, and we pay attention to the moments you do not realize are happening. Those are the photographs you will keep.

Five to six weeks for most collections, seven to eight for the shorter ones — the exact return time is listed on each collection. Our seven-hour photography collection also includes sneak peeks within 48 to 72 hours, so you have something to share while you are still on your honeymoon.

Yes, on every collection. We take a retainer to hold your date and then split the balance across the months before the wedding, in whatever shape works for you. Just ask when you inquire.

Absolutely. The collections cover what most couples want, but if you need six hours rather than five, or photo coverage with just a ceremony film, tell us and we will price it properly rather than pushing you up to the next tier.

It is someone whose only job on the day is the logistics — the timeline, the vendors, the hundred small questions that otherwise reach you or your mum. You do not need it, but couples who add it consistently say it was the thing that let them actually be present. It runs $600 to $900.

We are a husband-and-wife team, so on most collections you get both of us. A second shooter is included in most collections, and on the full-day options there are two photographers and two videographers. It means nothing gets missed while one of us is with the other partner.

You get every photograph we edit, in full resolution, with the right to print them. We do not hand over unedited raw files as standard because the editing is a real part of the work, but raw video footage can be added to any film collection.

We shoot in it. Some of our favorite photographs have come out of weather that was not in the plan. We will always have a backup approach ready and we will never make you stand in it longer than you want to.
